Why learn with us?
Joining a class is easy!
Our dance classes run throughout the year, and complete beginners are always welcome. There’s no need to bring a partner, it’s all pay-as-you-go, and you don’t have to pre-book - just come along!
All of our adult group classes run for 90 minutes
Our 90-minute dance classes provide plenty of time to practice, socialise and enjoy learning!
We are proud to be rural, local, and community-focused
We believe that everyone - regardless of location - should have the opportunity to learn and enjoy dance. With us, learning to dance is about bringing people together and sharing the joy that music and partner dancing can bring to your life.
We provide a structured and supportive learning environment
Learning to dance is a gradual process, and we enjoy helping our students discover and develop their dancing skills. Our classes and events are creative and encouraging, and we provide three levels of group classes to offer a clear progression path.
We teach skills, not just steps
We teach practical dancing skills to encourage thoughtful improvisation, adaptability, and musicality while developing strong floorcraft. Our unique approach prepares you to feel at ease dancing at any social event.
Our classes are technique-based
We help you understand and develop essential dance principles and techniques (such as alignment, posture, and placement) for safe dance practice.
We are professionally qualified and experienced
Emma is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), professionally qualified by the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA), and a member of The Guild of Professional Teachers of Dance, Movement to Music, and Dramatic Arts.
